1. Reservation With the reservation of an apartment, the Client automatically accepts the Terms and Conditions stated on this page, especially those related to cancellations of bookings, and declares to have read and understood the apartment’s description and its features, finding it all to his/her liking. An apartment can be considered booked only after having received an official confirmation e-mail that will occur within 24 working hours after the reception of the booking request and after the down payment; the e-mail will contain the exact address of the vacation home and the owner’s direct contact info. The reservation request must be confirmed by our staff with the apartment owner directly. 2. Rates, Services and Payment terms The rates shown on the website are the ones indicated on every apartment’s description page, based on the duration of the stay, on the season and on the number of occupants. The rental costs are inclusive of electricity costs and a weekly linen change, with exception of a few apartments that require an extra for any given reason (ex. 5 €/day for A/C). An initial 20% down payment via credit card or Paypal or Western Union transfer is required to confirm the booking. Only after having paid the down payment will the reservation of the service be considered confirmed. The remaining amount will be due in CASH only upon check-in. 3. Client cancellation or variation of booking The required down payment will be returned in case of cancellations that occur within 10 days of the reservation; Youholiday with only withhold 30,00 Euro to cover secretarial costs. If the cancellation occurs after the above stated period, the initial down payment will be kept as penalty and the Client won’t be entitled to any kind of reimbursement. 4. Apartment Replacement Youholiday reserves the right, at any moment, to modify the reservation with the replacement of another apartment of equal or higher value due to unpredictable events (urgent reparations in the apartment, damages..). In case of cancellation of contract on behalf of Youholiday, the Client will only be entitled to the reimbursement of the down payment. No further indemnity will be given for any reason. 5. Security Deposit The client must pay a 200 Euro security deposit to cover the cost of any possible damage to the apartment or its equipment. The amount will be returned upon check-out. Naturally the landlord will have the right to withhold the security deposit if any damage has been caused, plus will be reimbursed if the amount necessary to cover the damage is greater than the deposit paid. 6. Client Obligations The client will be welcomed in the apartment either by the landlord or by a representative thus he must provide his/her exact arrival details (time, place of arrival, flight number, airline train number, exc.) no more than 48 working hours from the confirmation of the booking in order to set the check-in, unless otherwise agreed approved by the owner. Upon arrival he must pay the balance in cash and have a copy of every occupant’s ID card or passport in order to be registered in accordance to Italian law. He will be shown the flat and the functioning of the outfits. Once Client is given the keys, he/she becomes the caretaker of the flat and must give it the maximum care without causing any damages. The Client is expected to respect the surrounding neighbourhood and to comply with the number of accompanying claimed persons occupying the flat. The Client is also obliged to leave the apartment clean and in order, with special attention to the following: leave all dishes, utensils and pots clean and where they were found; throw out trash in the relative bins located outside the apartment building; no to dirty walls, drapery or sofas. 7. Responsability All the properties present on the website are privately owned and thus do not belong to Youholiday. The description of the apartments have been provided by the owners and are updated by them directly. Youholiday will in no way be considered responsible for any changes that haven’t been properly notified by the owner. If Tenant should notice any irregularity from the description of the property or should there be any problem during his/her stay, he/she shall immediately contact the owner directly who will surely solve the problem as quickly as possible. Youholiday is simply a booking agency and does not own any of the flats on the website; for this reason, Youholiday cannot be considered liable for any damages or problems found inside the rented apartment for which the Tenant has no right to demand any penalty or reimbursement. The Client will in no case hold responsible Youholiday, its employees and the property owner, for any damages, thefts or injuries to personal property or to themselves by reason of any cause whatsoever, either in or around the rented property or elsewhere. The Guest won't in any way be entitled to any kind of reimbursement, indemnity or discount due to such event. The landlord is the only person responsible for the state and for the correct functioning of the apartment. 8. Territorial jurisdiction All the points stated are in accordance with the Italian Law. Any possible disputes will be under the jurisdiction of the Roman Court. |
